FORCED VIBRATIONS AT NATURAL FREQUENCY - Performative mini sound-installation. Coils-based and resonance-exploring. by ñ kak Natalia Borissova 29.01.2011 @ Staalplaat - Flughafenstr. 38, Berlin |
Ferric metal objects being disturbed electromagnetically are forced
to vibrate with sound, resonating each other at the many different sets of multiple frequencies. There is no mathematical relationship between them, so the sounds created can be described as noise, unless it gets intuitively shaped and filtered into musical vibrations through the other objects.
